Ingredients for Orange Creamsicle Mousse:

Mousse:

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ⅔ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp orange powder
  • 1 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
  • Orange zest for serving

Whipped cream:

  • 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Whipped cream:

  1. In a stainless steel or metal bowl, combine all the ingredients.
  2. With a hand mixer, beat the ingredients for 5-7 min straight, or until stiff peaks form.
  3. Place in the fridge, covered, until needed.

Mousse:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange powder, and food coloring. Using a hand mixer, whip until well combined and smooth.
  2. Fill a frosting bag with a large tip and fill mousse cups about ¾ full.
  3. Use homemade whipped cream to the top of mousse cups.
  4. Serve with orange zest and enjoy!

  • 8 oz white chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. In a bowl using either a whisk or a mixer beat together the eggs, sugar and salt until well combined. Whisk in the vanilla.
  3. Whisk in the flour, cocoa and baking powder. Then whisk in the melted and slightly cooled butter. Stir until just combined, do not over mix.
  4. Finally stir in the orange powder. Then spoon the batter into your buttered madeleine pan and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool in the pan on a cooling rack for a few minutes before sliding them out of the pan and onto the rack or flipping them onto it. Allow to cool.
  6. To make the ganache, melt white chocolate in a double boiler over medium low heat. Dip each madeleine halfway into the chocolate, then set back on the wire rack. Sprinkle with sprinkles, then allow chocolate to harden completely and enjoy.
  7. Keep in an airtight container for 1-2 days.
