  1. Place 1 teaspoon of powder in a teacup through a strainer to break down clumps.
  2. Add 2-8 ounces of water (175F).
    NOTE: never use boiling hot water!
  3. Whisk your matcha tea using a specialized bamboo whisk (or any other whisk) in a zigzag motion.
  4. Drink immediately before the powder settles.

Ingredients for Pumpkin Spice Matcha Latte:

  • 2 tsp organic matcha green tea powder
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup hot water (not boiling)
  • 1 cup almond milk (warm)
  • 2 tsp organic virgin coconut oil


  1. In a blender, add all the ingredients together and blend for 45 seconds to a minute.
  2. Top with extra matcha or extra pumpkin spice and enjoy!


  • If your matcha latte cools down in the blender, you can always add more hot water on top of it if you’d like it very hot.
  • If you want to sweeten your latte, add a little maple or agave syrup.
  • It’s important not to use boiling water as this can kill the flavor of the tea

Ingredients for Vegan Matcha Souffle Pancakes:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp matcha
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • Maple syrup/ powdered sugar/ seasonal fruits and berries


  1. Whisk together 2 types of flour, powdered sugar, matcha, salt, baking powder, and baking soda until well combined.
  2. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add oil and vinegar, then slowly add milk and whisk until smooth.
  3. Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add a thin layer of oil at the bottom. Place the ring molds. Spoon half the batter into one mold, then the other. Cover the pan with a lid and let cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Use a spatula to flip the pancakes. Cover the pan again and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. Remove the pancakes to a plate.
  6. Serve immediately with maple syrup and your favorite fruits or berries.

... This matcha appears to be very bright green and I can taste it straight up and is earthy but not bitter. I am using it to make a matcha latte to mimic my REBBL matcha latte's that I love but are a bit spendy to have daily. This seems to be a quality matcha for the price.
