Ingredients for Spicy Rosemary Roasted Brazil Nuts:

  • 2 cups raw Brazil nuts
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh , finely chopped
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F (200 C)
  2. Place Brazil nuts in a bowl and add rosemary.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and cayenne pepper, tossing to coat evenly and completely.
  4. Cover baking sheet with baking paper. Pour nuts onto baking paper and spread evenly in a single layer.
  5. Place in oven and roast for 15-17 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature before eating.

Ingredients for Brazil Nuts Spanakopita Triangles:

  • 450g of pre-made Phyllo pastry sheets
  • 2 cups brazil nuts chopped
  • 3 сups fresh spinach
  • 2 tbsp ground golden flaxseeds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (+1 cup for brushing onto Phyllo sheets)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 large onion peeled and diced
  • 2 garlic cloves peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat up the oven to 175° C / 350° F.
  2. Make the flax egg: put the ground flaxseeds in a small bowl and stir in 6 tbsp water. Set aside.
  3. Blanch clean spinach in a pot of boiling water. Immerse in ice-cold water immediately after to preserve the beautiful green color.
  4. Heat up 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large frying pan. Add diced onion and fry gently, until soft. Add diced garlic and fry on a low-medium heat until translucent and fragrant.
  5. Squeeze the water from the blanched spinach really well using your hands. Go over the spinach twice or even three times to get it as dry as possible. Chop it and add it to the pan.
  6. Remove from heat. Add flax “egg”, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and chopped brazil nuts. Mix well.
  7. Unwrap the first segment of pastry and place the first strip on a table ahead of you, keep the rest under the damp towel. Lightly brush it with olive oil. Now, place another strip on top of the first one and brush it lightly with oil again.
  8. Place a heaped teaspoon (do not overfill the triangles) of filling at the bottom of each strip and then start folding the pastry around the filling forming triangles. Continue until you use up all of the filling or pastry sheets.
  9. Brush the tops of the triangles with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 20 minutes, until golden.

Best brazil nuts I've ever eaten. Brazil nuts were never my favorite in mixed nuts but wanted to add them to my diet. Wow what a difference these nuts are compared to those. They are very mild and super fresh. Love them. I no longer say I'm not a big fan of brazil nuts, because I'm a huge fan of yours! Please don't change them.

Great! very tasteful. Tastes freshly shelled. Large nuts, bag is very full. Tasteful, rich clean buttery taste not hard not salty, not bland. So much better than canned nuts. So much better than nuts found in locally. Well worth the price which beats out any local price I found. I would buy this again.

Freshness & Taste. Have ordered other brands from Amazon. Always has expiration date up to a year from when I received it. FOOD TO LIVE brand exceeded the TASTE of the other brands I ordered from Amazon. I never knew what Brazil nuts were suppose to taste like til I ordered the Food To Live brand.

Very fresh and arrived with expiration date that was not expired. This is my second bag and I will buy again for sure as buying these local at the typical stores is quite expensive and often hard to locate. No added salt or other junk.
