Product Description

Organic hemp seeds are delicious, nutritious, and generally great for you. This food is considered one of the best sources of vegan protein as well as a variety of essential nutrients. Food TO Live Organic Hemp Seeds are 100% GMO and toxin-free.

Organic Hemp Seeds Benefits

The most important of the many benefits of organic hemp seeds are:

  • They are packed with essential nutrients.
This food provides your body with a wide range of vitamins, minerals, proteins, and omega 3 fatty acids. A single meal that contains about an ounce of the seeds will allow you to meet almost half of your required daily dose of magnesium and a quarter of zinc.
  • They are heart-friendly.
Unlike many similar foods that only help lowering the levels of “bad” cholesterol, hemp seeds offer another important benefit. They contain nitric oxide, an element that naturally relaxes the blood vessels. Seeds and nuts are considered heart-friendly by default, but hemp is definitely one of the best in this regard.
  • They contain omega 3.
The seeds are rich in omega 3 fats, which have potent anti-inflammatory properties. Consuming them on a regular basis will help improve your general wellbeing and even benefit your looks. Omega 3 fatty acids help keep your skin smooth and glowing with beauty. Vegans, and other people who don’t eat fish, would appreciate hemp seeds most.
  • They support healthy digestion.
As organic hemp seeds contain lots of dietary fiber, they help promote your digestive function. You can include them in a weight loss diet if you plan your meals right.

AMAZING products! Recipe time: drained rinsed chickpeas, lemon, tahini, spice to your taste, I used fresh garlic, hot pepper and some salt, cilantro, olive oil, hemp seed about 3 tablespoons, pumpkin seeds use about half cup. Pulse well, if mixture thick then add more lemon juice and a little bit more oil. Best hummus ever!!! Same ingredients for black bean hummus except no tahini, add cumin.

Oat Cookies with Goji Berry Jam

Oat Cookies with Goji Berry Jam

Raw Oatmeal Cookies:

  • 0,5 cup raw oats
  • 0,25 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes
  • 0,5 cup almonds
  • 25g coconut butter
  • 1 tablespoon raw coconut oil
  • Pinch of Himalaya Salt
  • Lemon peel from an organic lemon
  • 2-3 drops lemon oil
  • 3 tablespoons agave or yacon syrup
  • 5-6 teaspoons sucanat or coconut sugar

In the food processor, process raw, rolled oats into a fine meal, add almonds, hemp seeds and coconut flakes, process until they are finely ground as well. Add salt, lemon peel, agave syrup and sucanat, mix well. Add melted coconut butter and coconut oil(you can use only coconut oil), continue to process until a ball is formed and everything is mixed. With your hands, form small thumbprint cookies, then place for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Spoon raw goji jam on top and enjoy. These cookies stay fresh for 3-4 days and should be kept in the refrigerator.
😉

Raw Goji Berry Jam:

  • 0,25 cup dried goji berries
  • 0,25 cup dried cranberries
  • 0,25 cup fresh orange juice
  • Juice from a half lemon(a huge)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of water
  • 1-2 tablespoons agave
  • 4-5 fresh, organic strawberries
  • 1-2 teaspoons psylium seed husk

Place dried berries in a bowl, add water, lemon and orange juice, let stand for 1-2 hours to soften the berries. Transfer in a high speed blender, add fresh strawberries and agave, blend till it is very smooth. Add psyllium husks, mix well and let stand for 10-15 minutes, then again blend very well. The psyllium husk acts as a thickening/gelling agent and provides the right texture, it tastes very similar to a real fruit jam, only much healthier and without tons of sugar.

Easy Cinnamon Apple Granola with dried apples, walnuts, pepitas, and hemp hearts ❤️

Easy Cinnamon Apple Granola with dried apples, walnuts, pepitas, and hemp hearts

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups gluten-free oats
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • ¼ cup pepitas
  • ¼ cup hemp hearts
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ⅓ cup + 1 tablespoon maple syrup (grade b preferred)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dried apples or more if desired

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine oats, walnuts, pepitas, hemp hearts, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a smaill bowl, whisk together coconut oil, ⅓ cup maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Pour over dry ingredients and stir until the oat mixture is evenly coated.
  4. Pour mixture onto baking sheet, spread, and pack down flat (using a piece of parchment or plastic wrap is an easy, mess-free way to do this).
  5. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Stir about halfway through, pack back down, drizzle tablespoon of maple syrup over the top, and bake for the remaining time or until granola is golden brown. If it looks like the walnuts are browning up quickly, tent a piece of foil over the pan for the remaining baking minutes.
  6. When done, granola should look golden brown. Place baking sheet on wire rack and let granola cool completely. When cool, break up granola into pieces and stir in dried apples. Store in an airtight container.
