How to cook Lima Beans

Note: We recommend soaking Lima Beans prior to boiling for at least a few hours to reduce the cooking time.

Stovetop method:

Cover rinsed beans with fresh water

Bring to a boil and reduce the heat

Cover and simmer until tender (for about 1 hour)

Drain and enjoy!

Pressure cooker method:

Combine 1 cup of rinsed Lima Beans and 3 cups of water in a pot

Cook unsoaked beans for 25 mins on “high” pressure, soaked beans – 10 mins

Allow natural release for 15 mins

Bon Appetit!
