For a long time, Macadamia Nut has held the title of “queen of the nuts”, and let us reassure you, it is not for no reason! Hailing from Australia, Macadamia Nuts were considered a rarity to be preserved for only special occasions. While their delicate buttery taste can be identified as a true delicacy, roasting and salting complements its notes even more. With that in mind, Food to Live’s oven-roasted macadamias is a valuable part of the Food to live Signature Snacks Collection, created and developed by our very own, Chef Lana.
Firstly, macadamia is carefully dry-roasted in the oven with no oil added. This method not only delivers an extra crisp, but also ensures that all the nutrients are retained. Then, we lightly season roasted macadamia nuts with pink Himalayan Salt, which contains more minerals than table salt and adds a soft savory flavor.
