How to Cook Organic Buckwheat Kasha

One of the great things about organic buckwheat kernels is that you don’t have to pre-soak them before cooking. However, don’t forget to rinse buckwheat groats before cooking to remove any dust and debris. Cooking instructions:

  1. Use 1 3/4 cups water or broth per 1 cup organic buckwheat kasha.
  2. Toast the buckwheat kernels in a dry skillet for 2-3 minutes to enhance their nutty flavor.
  3. Transfer to a medium saucepan, add water and bring to a boil.
  4. Cook for about 18-20 minutes at a simmer until all water is absorbed.

As an alternative, you can bring water or broth to a boil separately and pour it into the saucepan with toasted organic buckwheat groats. Then, cook at a simmer for about 5-10 minutes before removing from heat. Leave the pan covered for about 15 more minutes. Season cooked groats with salt, pepper, and any spices you love. They will taste amazing with any vegetable. You can add sautéed onions at the beginning of the cooking process to enhance the taste of your organic kasha.

Why Should You Buy Organic Buckwheat Bulk

You definitely should buy organic buckwheat kasha in bulk if you want to enjoy this pseudo-grain regularly. I am very happy to have found this brand. I have been buying buckwheat for more than 10 years now, as I am allergic to grains. Buckwheat is from a different family, so I am able to eat it. I am very happy to have found this brand. The quality of the grain is excellent and the price is very affordable. I use the buckwheat whole or grind it to use as flour. I tried this company as my regular one was out of stock. Some brands I've tried have not been high quality, so I was a little worried. I am very pleased and will be buying again. Thank you.
These Buckwheat groats are ease to prepare, have less calories than rice, and taste great. We add onions and brown them in a skillet like hashbrowns sometimes. They are great with eggs or as a side. Highly recommend groats.
Great quality at competitive price. Buckwheat isn’t very common and not easy to find at any grocery store. This one was priced a little under the Whole Foods retail price. The quality is also great. Are used to order but we’d imported from Russia and it was pretty dirty. It took several rounds of rinsing to get it clean. This one is very clean I only rinse it one before cooking. Highly recommended.

Will buy again. So I just started using Buckwheat due to its health benefits and ordered this because its organic and a was a great cost. The Buckwheat came in a thick resealable ziplock bag - that is a win for me. As far as the taste of this particular product, I can't give a comparison response because its the only Buckwheat I've ever cooked with or eaten. I will purchase this item again when I've gotten through this bag.
Excellent quality, very clean, tastes great. Will buy again. Save your time, stop searching, buy this one. This one is just perfect. This is the best buckwheat I even had.
