Raw Marzipan Truffles
This easy raw marzipan recipe is both easy and delicious! Shape your marzipan into balls, and then coat some of them with shredded coconut, dip others in melted chocolate, and dust a few with cacao powder. The result? A scrumptious vegan treat!

INGREDIENTS:
For the marzipan:
- 2 cups blanched slivered almonds
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- pinch of sea salt
For the toppings:
- organic cacao powder
- organic shredded coconut
- vegan dark chocolate, melted
INSTRUCTION:
- Put the almonds in a food processor and process until finely crumbled (about 1 min).
- Add the maple syrup and sea salt to the food processor. Process until the mixture starts forming a ball on the blade (about 2-3 min).
- Use a cookie dough scoop or a tablespoon to scoop out portions of marzipan and roll them into smooth balls.
- Coat the marzipan balls in your choice of toppings or enjoy them plain.
