  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Organic Whole Grain Buckwheat Flour Blend, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then add buttermilk and melted butter. Mix well.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Don’t overmix; it’s okay if there are a few lumps.


  1. Heat a griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat and add a small amount of oil.
  2. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
  3. Repeat until all the batter is used.

If you don’t have buttermilk on hand, mix 1 tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice into 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5-10 min until it slightly thickens and curdles.
