The pineapple plant, also called ‘ananas’, comes from Paraguay. The local peoples helped it spread to other parts of South America and the Spanish conquistadores brought it back to Spain, from where the news of the delicious fruit traveled all over the world. Dried Pineapple (Diced) from Food To Live is the fruit turned into a great quick snack. It’s tasty, keeps well, and has several dozen culinary uses. It’s also a low-calorie and low-fat product.

What others are saying

  1. 5 out of 5 Food to Live is superior to other companies

Food to live sells the highest quality and best tasting sweetened dried pineapple that I’ve found anywhere. Unlike many other companies, they don’t use preservatives in their product, such as sulphur dioxide. Also, the sugar content of nearly all other competitors’ sweetened dried pineapple is 12.5% higher than that of Food to Live’s—which, to me, makes other companies’ products excessively sweet. Additionally, Food to Live’s product is less expensive than practically all others. The only other item from Food to Live that I’ve tried is their dried diced mango. This, too, was more delicious and cost less than comparable products from other companies.

Speaking to their customer service; the one mistake that I encountered while dealing with Food to Live was corrected promptly, and their resolution to the mishap exceeded my expectations.

By extrapolating from my experience with Food to Live, I can confidently, and without hesitation, recommend buying any item that is sold by them. If they offer something you purchase elsewhere, try getting it from Food to Live, you won’t be disappointed!

Couldn’t be better. I especially liked the way the pineapple was diced in small enough pieces I didn’t have to recut it.

Item shipped & arrived shortly after order was placed. I didn’t even use express shipping!! Product is exactly as advertised. We will definitely use this vendor again in the future. 5 stars from us.
