Facts: Vegan diet offers several excellent sources of this mineral, with legumes and green vegetables being the best options. Eating fruits and other foods rich in vitamin C (citrus fruits, bell peppers, kiwi, tomatoes, etc.) along with iron-rich foods enhances iron absorption.
