Baked Persimmons with Ginger Powder
Here is a simple dessert recipe of soft, sticky and caramelized persimmons!

- 4 Fuyu persimmons
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 2 tbsps hot water
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut tops off persimmons. Peel and cut into slices. Place in a large baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine maple syrup and spices. Add hot water and stir until dissolved. Pour mixture over fruit.
- Cover dish with foil and bake until persimmons are soft, about 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and spoon syrup over fruit. Place dish under the broiler until persimmons are browned, about 10 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
