Ingredients:

  • ½ cup water (warm but not hot)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups organic ground flaxseed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Spices and herbs to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly and form a ball of dough.
  2. Oil your ‘ball’ a bit and place it somewhere warm for 20 minutes. You can cover it with plastic food wrap.
  3. Oil a pan and preheat your oven to 450F.
  4. Press the dough into the pan wetting your hands so that it doesn’t stick. Alternately, it might be easier if you do it through a piece of plastic wrap.

Baking with flaxseed will make this dough a bit crunchier than your usual pizza crust. The taste will also differ, but it’ll be a pleasant change. You can use any topping for this pizza, but tomato sauce and veggies will taste best.

Don’t forget that there are so many benefits of flaxseeds, you should consider adding a tablespoon of this product to most things you bake.
